It’s finally here! The new element of the business we have been working towards all year!

Growing up with horses, and helping mum looking after her plethora of beautiful beasts we had always found that they needed a bit more support in their worlds. Mum cam across EMMETT whilst looking for treatment for one of her boys that had an injury & once she read what it was all about she enrolled us in the first course in NSW.

So now, here we are! EMMETT Practitioners…. and whilst the name states horses, we also treat pooches.

What is EMMETT? The short version ~ Emmett Therapy is a light touch technique involving the application of light pressure on specific points to affect immediate release in surrounding muscle tissue via a rewiring of the neurons. Pretty cool stuff! So cool that we will soon also be EMMETT Human Practitioners (which I know so many of you have been screaming out for all year!). Michelle Seinor
EMMETT Practitioner

Animals have always held a special place in my heart and in my life. I was an obsessed horse lover as a young girl going to riding lessons and schools studying horse husbandry and riding different styles just to connect with these majestic souls as much as I could. I grew up on the Mid North Coast and although my teaching career took me to Sydney for 21 years, I have returned home to reconnect and spend more time with my 3 horses.

My passion has never faded for horses even though the city life took up much of my working time, I have still been involved in the industry, and have been very fortunate to own National and World champions. Working alongside the best in the industry where I have been involved in training and show preparations providing me with first-hand knowledge and experiences into the physical structure of these animals. The innate psycho-social and behavioural attributes they operate from is unique for every horse which not only defines their personality, but also how they are best trained and best treated.

The direction I have taken toward equine healing stems from a specifically dark time when I wasn’t able to help my heart horse. Lost in all the red tape and policies I decided to take a step outside social norms and embarked on a journey of engaging alternative healing therapies to communicate at the energetic level with our horses. As a master Reiki healer, I understand these concepts at a universal level, which were further confirmed as I studied the Emmett technique and Lymphatic Massage. Bringing more of these modalities to the world through Equine fascial trauma release, kinesiology and recent experiences immersed in a 6 week program with Dr Raquel Butler, I continue to discover the extreme benefits these have alongside traditional veterinary care, toward the overall health, well-being and welfare of our equine friends.

Utilising healing therapies enables me to communicate at a different level to listen to the wisdom that they carry in their heart and offer to any human who possesses the humility to listen to Heal Well.
