My Journey.

Hello dear one and welcome to my little pocket of the world!

My name is Tahlia and I am here to serve you through Lymphatic Bodywork, Native Nutrition and Holistic Women’s Wellness. I find the deepest sense of fulfilment and purpose in doing what I do, holding space and guiding people back to their truest form, a self-healing vessel.

At the beginning of my life, I grew up in a little coastal town, close to my country. I never understood why my hometown called me back every time I needed to heal physically, emotionally, or spiritually. As I learnt more about my heritage, I came to realise the impact our home country has on our health. I am a Dunghutti-Gumbaynggirr nyami (woman) living on my birth country, Birpai land. I have songlines that run deep through this land which is why I am always called back. As I journey further into the rediscovery of my culture through language, our medicinal plants and my connection to the earth, I feel myself become more aligned on my path, more connected to this land and more in-tune with my souls purpose. I feel honored to be walking a path where I can share this knowledge. To honor the old ways and to guide people to connect, ground and reconnect to their own ancestral DNA.

I am an earth and animal lover with a gypsy soul. I am most at home by the ocean with my feet in the sand or completely immersed in the sea, but the mountains also hold a very special place in my heart. Living on the Mid North Coast allows me to experience both elements daily, heck, I live on the water under a mountain. Dream Life! I am in deep reverence to sacred ritual and ceremony. Every aspect of our life is just that ~ every moment a ritual, everyday gifted to us is sacred.

I have always been destined for this work, my life just took me on a curly, but relevant, path to get here. When I was 11 years old, I was diagnosed with Endometriosis. This is where my journey into the world of natural medicine of both the eastern and western traditions began. Whilst I was being supported, I wasn’t healing and knew I was missing some important ingredients. Once my professional dancing career ended and at the end of my first degree (Bachelor of Arts), I wanted a career in helping people – I just didn’t know what that looked like. I went on to study Exercise Physiology, working in the field for 12 years, whilst simultaneously studying a Nutritional Medicine degree.

I was 26 years old when I was diagnosed with Graves’ Disease. This experience is the one that shifted me back into my soul’s alignment and onto the path I walk today. It’s the darkest times that lead to the greatest light, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. My journey of healing my Graves naturally introduced me to the connection between our body, mind and soul. Learning that our body ‘keeps score’ and holds trauma that leads to dis-ease when not addressed and, that we have absolutely everything we need inside of us to heal, we just have to find the right combination to our lock.

Lymphatic Bodywork was one of those combinations/recipe ingredients that I was missing and without it I would not have healed my auto-immune condition. This is why Heal Well’s motto is ‘healing the root cause’, because no system works alone, we are a whole-being that needs to be supported as such and our symptoms are only signs from the ‘deeper’ reason.

I am truly passionate about what I do and being able to share this with the world. My intention is to hold space to support you on your healing journey, wherever that may be, to heal holistically, to Heal Well. I want to empower you to embody your most authentic self, to inspire you to find your light within. I want us all to discover just how unique and beautiful we are, and just how good we can feel.

Heal Well is continuously evolving and growing with me in every way and I love that we both shift organically together. I am so excited for all that is and all that is yet to unfold, and I am just as excited to share this journey with you.

With Love & Gratitude,

Tahlia x
